Ford Motor Company is an American multinational corporation ranked fifth in the world in automobile production. In 2006, it ranked second in the US in automobile production with a 17.5% share behind General Motors which had a 24.6% share but ahead of Toyota 15.4% and DaimlerChrysler 14.4%.
